As you may know, The Solimine Family (Meridian Risk and Joan Solimine Real Estate) has been very supportive of the JLP over the years. They have asked us to consider taking part in Meridian’s sponsorship of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk. Joe Sr. just reached the 1 year Anniversary of his bone marrow transplant and the family is showing their gratitude by sponsoring the LTN event and creating a team to help raise awareness and funds for research. LTN represents the largest fund raiser for the LLS and the funds go directly to treatments for people fighting blood cancers and their families. Team Meridian will walk onNovember 1st at Rye Playland in honor of Joe Sr. and we have created a Junior League of Pelham Team underneath Team Meridian to help show them our collective “love”. Attendance at the event is not necessary (unless you want to join and all are welcome!), but any funds you’d like to donate would be greatly appreciated – every little bit helps!
