The Junior League of Pelham’s toy and book drive over the summer for a Mt. Vernon playgroup was a tremendous success. Working with the Westchester Jewish Community Services, which has been developing community support programs forMt. Vernonparents and their young children, JLP members took only a few days to collect three large carloads of gently used toys and books. The playgroup immediately put them to good use!
