Paint & Plant, presented by JLP and the Pelham Preservation and Garden Society, was a huge hit in the community on one of the first sunny Sundays of the year! We welcomed spring at Woodland Park where kids tried out the two new water easels donated by JLP and painted reusable tote bags donated by Ecopel. Families then walked across the street for a screening of “The Lorax” at the Pelham Picture House.
In the spirit of the event, Pelham Preservation and Garden Society has planted two new trees at Woodland Park and is granting 25 large shade trees to Pelham residents.
Thank you to all of our community partners and the members of JLP’s Pelham Public Art project for a wonderful afternoon.
